Castle Glass Website Design
For quick creation on my part and easy management by the client, SquareSpace was used to manage content and provide a template to customize.
This website redesign for Castle Glass, Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio, was an overhaul to bring their website out of the aesthetic of early internet websites to bring it up to modern standards. This improved usability, their professional image, and sales.
I introduced more imagery on each page to provide interested customers with examples of the company’s product and service offerings. Another key improvement was categorizing the website navigation based upon customers’ needs—residential and commercial—so that their customers could more easily find the types of solutions they are interested in.
This new website design introduced a new brilliant, clean-looking turquoise to the company brand, which also touts a freshened logo. I reinvigorated the Castle Glass logo, transforming an old and weathered, drawn logo image into a sharp and classy, vectorized logo file. The bright turquoise supports the fresh feeling of the updated logo and also complements the neutral colors used on the website and seen in supporting glass and mirror imagery.
The combination of user-focused architecture, refreshed company brand, increase in supportive imagery, and careful consideration toward written content led to a website design that more successfully promotes the company and products.
