T3 UI/UX Design

During my time working for Fuse Integration, I led the design of their flagship browser-based software, T3 (Tactical Troubleshooting Toolset). T3 provides warfighters with secure monitoring and management at various levels for a diverse set of users, environments, platforms, systems, devices, links, and situations.

I worked intimately with multidisciplinary scrum teams—consisting of frontend and backend engineers, systems engineers, network and cyber engineers, and product, project, and program managers—from multiple projects and programs to design for unique use cases that integrated into the larger T3 product.

As the Lead UI/UX Designer, my individual contribution to the design of this software ran the gambit from conducting and documenting user research to distilling that research and design best practices into content, structural, visual, and interaction design decisions. Additionally, I led a scrum team for which I planned and delegated priorities and taskings.

I used documents of all kinds to communicate and capture design requirements including Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, Visio diagrams, hand-drawn wireframes, component and style guides, as well as high-fidelity page and interaction mockups. In addition to user research and UI documentation I also provided implementation quality reviews for components, interactions, pages, and configurations of T3 resulting in the capture of bugs and enhancements.

While I cannot share much imagery, I am confident that I can speak to particular examples of user engagement, complex feature design, and cross-functional team interactions in the process of exploring potential employment opportunities.
